The refinery and Bullenbaai have different types of tanks, namely “fixed-roof tanks” and “floating roof tanks”. The following pictures illustrates these tanks.

Blending Facilities:

1. White Oils
• System for batch blending of Avgas, consisting of booster station
• White Oils, for inline blending of naphthas, mogas, avtur and gasoil directly into ships

2. Black Oils
1. Recon crudes. Mixtures of crude, fuel and non-leaded white products can be loaded on ships at jetties 5, 6, 7& 8.
2. In line blending. Fuel components i.e. residues and diluents can be in line blended on flow ratio control into ships berthed at two different jetties.
